As a member of the Mercer Super Trust's Personal Superannuation Division you’ll have access to a range of services whenever you have a question about your super - including online access to your account information, and a friendly Helpline through which you can ask questions or obtain limited advice from a Mercer financial adviser over the phone.

We can also help find your lost super or consolidate your super accounts into one so that your retirement savings are working hard for you.

Who can join?

The Mercer Super Trust is open to Australian residents – for further information refer to the ‘key features’ below. The Product Disclosure Statement contains more detailed information about the plan, as well as a copy of the application form.

Competitive fees

No contribution fee applies to amounts deposited to your account.

The management costs that apply to your account will depend on the investment option you choose and the value of your account.

Insurance options You can apply for a level of insurance that suits your needs+:
  • Death cover (life protection) only; or
  • Death cover (life protection) and Total & Permanent Disablement cover (TPD cover).

- A 40 year old white collar male seeking $200,000 of death and TPD cover could currently expect to pay between $170 and $290 per annum.*

Estate planning You can choose from:
  • Preferred (discretionary) death benefit nomination ; or
  • Binding death benefit nomination.


Your beneficiaries may also request to receive death benefits in the form of either a lump sum or a pension.

Retirement income At retirement you can transfer to an allocated pension within the Mercer Super Trust and receive your payout in the form of a regular income.

+ Eligibility for insurance cover is subject to terms and conditions.

* The cost of death and TPD cover will vary depending on the rating factors that apply to your occupation, smoker status, gender, health and premium rate that applies for your age.
