The Mercer Super Trust has received industry recognition as one of the highest quality super funds in Australia.
Independent ratings groups SuperRatings, Chant West and the Heron Partnership recently assessed the Mercer Super Trust against hundreds of other super funds, and awarded it their top ratings.
The Mercer Wealth Solutions website has also been awarded Best Website of the Year in the Rainmaker Marketing Excellence Awards 2009 and received a Finalist award in the 2009 ASFA Communications Awards for ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’.
‘Platinum rating’ awarded by SuperRatings
The Mercer Super Trust has been awarded a Platinum rating by research group, SuperRatings in the Corporate Superannuation Division for 2010.
This rating ranks the Mercer Super Trust Corporate Superannuation Division in the top 15% of over 200 multi-employer super funds assessed by SuperRatings.
As a Platinum rated fund, the Mercer Super Trust is seen to:
- be among the funds offering the best value for money
- provide a range of quality features and services to assist members to save for retirement
- be generally well-balanced in terms of investment performance, investment methodology, fees, insurance, administration and advisory services

‘5 Apples’ awarded by Chant West
The Mercer Super Trust has been rated as a ‘highest quality fund’ by superannuation research and consultancy firm, Chant West.
Chant West has awarded the Mercer Super Trust with the highest rating of ‘5 Apples’ for the Corporate Superannuation Division (large and medium fund categies), Personal Superannuation Division and Allocated Pension Division for 2010.
A Chant West rating sums up their overall view on the merits of a particular fund relative to industry best practice. The rating takes several main criteria into account, including organisational strengths, investments, fees, insurance, administration, member services and employer services.

‘5 Stars’ awarded by the Heron Partnership
The Mercer Super Trust Corporate Superannuation Division and Allocated Pension Division have been awarded the Heron Partnership’s highest rating of 5 Quality Stars for 2010.
The awards recognise the Mercer Super Trust as an ‘outstanding product with a great depth of features and flexibility’.
The 5 Stars rating is based on Heron’s assessment of the Mercer Super Trust’s investment arrangements, insurance, communications, contributions and ancillary benefits. It takes into account an analysis of over 130 features used to compare super funds in the Australian marketplace to assess the strengths and weaknesses of each fund.
